and Events
The Westford Web will post information that would be of interest to the general
Westford community. We will accept announcements or notices from any nonprofit
or community service organizations that base their operations in Westford. If
you have information that you would like to share, please use one of the forms
below to submit the information.

- For special programs of interest, please use this form to submit to the Community Notebook Page.
- If you have a personal web page that you would like to have linked up the Neighbors Web Site Page, please use this form.
- If you are a commercial business and you would like to advertise, please see our rate schedule.
Free
Web Space
The Westford Web offers free web space to Westford based nonprofit groups. To
qualify, your group must be based in Westford, with either a Westford mailing
address or a Westford phone number as the primary contact. We will set up your
web space as www.westford.com/yourgroup You can not display any ads on your web
pages, but you are allowed honorable mentions for donations. You must keep a link
(or you can use our our logo)
back to our home page from your index page.
Your group can have one of the following types of web sites set up:
- On Line Brochure
Display some basic information about your group, such as your charter, annual activities and contact information. We will create this page for you and update only the the contact information as needed. We will make other minor changes to the web page on an annual basis if needed. This service is a great way to get some basic information about your club on the web .
- Basic Web Page with Editable
Sections
We will develop a web page for your group. Select areas of the web page can be set up to allow your or someone from your group to update the text using a web browser. This service is useful for those groups that would like to post basic information plus some limited information on events or activities. No web page design knowledge is required.
- Web Space with File Management
Access
You will have full access to up to 25 meg of web space on our server. Create web pages on your local PC and post them directly to your web space. You would have complete control of all of your web pages. Updates can be posted by you as often as your club requires.
- Manage your content with
WordPress
We will install a copy of WordPress for your organization. WordPress is content management software that you can use to enable your web administrator or any member of your organization the ability to update web pages without the requirements web publishing skills. All changes are made through the web. WordPress is set up to work as a blog program, but it can be configured to manage your web pages as a content manager utility.
Your web space will be listed under www.westford.com/your_group_name.
