Woven Wearables and Accessories

The show explains the weaving process and highlights several items in the exhibit. It is expected to air in March 2008 on local cable stations throughout the area.

The Nashoba Valley Weaver's Guild is a group of weaving enthusiasts who have a variety of skill levels and weaving interests. Ongoing programs include weaving and spinning demonstrations at the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard. Some of our members are also available for demonstrations at schools, libraries, or other local events, upon request. On occasion, the guild sponsors lectures and workshops by experts in the field.

Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month (September to June) at 7:30 PM in the evening at the Fiber Loft, on Route 110 in the center of Harvard Massachusetts. Visitors are always welcome.

The exhibit features handwoven articles produced by members of the guild. In addition, there is a tabletop loom set up for visitors to experience weaving first hand.
