The Future of the Museum

The Museum

The museum would not survive if it had nothing to exhibit. Please think about donating or loaning your historically significant Westford artifacts: photographs, pictures, letters, clothing and tools. If you prefer, we can scan your photographs and return the originals to you in the blink of an eye.

The Museum presents two to three major exhibits each year along with several minor displays. These exhibits explain the history that influenced the wealth, communications, population and landscape of Westford. Your contributions of items related to these exhibits are always appreciated.

Some things are free – and priceless! Your memories of Westford’s yesterday are invaluable when shared with its residents of today. Contact us at 978/692-5550 to arrange an interview.

We welcome temporary exhibits of personal collections. What treasure troves are hidden in your attic?

Volunteers Welcomed

The Parish Hall Preservation and Arts Center Project

The Parish Hall Steering Committee, Box 411, Westford, MA 01886 The Westford Historical Society purchased the Parish Hall from The First Parish Church United in December 1998. This secured for the town a unique, twofold opportunity to preserve this historic landmark, which was erected in 1829 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and to serve the cultural interests of the community by supporting the arts.

For more information about The Parish Center for the Arts, please consult their website.
