~About Us~

WFN is a not-for-profit, social and philanthropic organization that introduces both new arrivals and area residents to each other and the Westford community through participation in the many service and social activities we offer.  Founded in 1970, as Westford Newcomers, the club has helped thousands of new arrivals feel at home here.  In 2003, we became Westford Friends & Newcomers, recognizing that many longtime residents were looking to form new friendships with others of similar interests.

‘WFN Community Gatherings ’

We invite you to join us on the second Tuesday of each month for a social gathering, where an interesting speaker or special program is featured.  We meet at the Roudenbush Community Center, located at 65 Main Street in Westford @ 7:30 pm from

September through May.

 Community Service

Our club is proud of its philanthropic commitment to Westford.  We support a wide variety of charitable, humanitarian and civic improvement projects with our fundraising efforts.  These projects include donations to and volunteer work for the Westford Public Schools, our local food pantry and library, holiday food baskets for local families, Westford Against Substance Abuse (WASA),  and college scholarships for Westford Academy and

Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Volunteerism is a big part of who we are as a club.  All members are encouraged to participate in at least one philanthropic
project each year.

It’s a great way to give back to your community!

~Community Gathering~

"Raising a Money Smart Child"
March 10th at 7:30pm at Roudenbush

We all want the best for our children. We want them to have good values and an education that will help them become successful. And, of course, part of that education includes learning how to manage money. That’s a complex subject.

We will hear from MARSHALL-BEN TISDALE who is a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones in Westford. As a Financial Advisor he hopes to help families plan for and reach their retirement goals. This is a program for all parents!

Please check our Calendar of Events page for more info on this event and much more.
