Uniforms
Cub Scout uniforms should be worn
by all scouts and leaders at Pack and Den meetings and other Cub
Scout activities unless otherwise announced in advance. Pack 102
requires a uniform from the waist up only (official Scout pants or
shorts not required, although dark blue or black pants and socks are
required for Pack Inspections). This year Pack 102 will be following
BSA recommendations and adopting Blue Cub scout uniforms for tiger
cubs. Uniforms for the Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Scouts include
an official Cub Scout shirt, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, Cub
Scout hat and belt. Tigers, Wolf and Bear Cubs wear a blue cub Scout
shirt. Webelos are highly encouraged to wear the tan Boy Scout shirt
but may also wear the blue shirt depending on the preference of the
Scout and their Den. Tigers, Wolves and Bears wear a Cub Scout hat
for their rank, and Webelos wear the Webelos hat that matches their
shirt. Each rank has irs own distinguishing neckerchief style and
color. The uniform can be purchased at a Scout store (Boy Scout of
America, (978)774-1130, 189 N. Main St., Middleton, MA, 01949). When
purchasing the uniform patches ask for assistance so you are sure to
get the proper patches. Patch locations are included in all Scout
handbooks.
Pack
Meetings
Pack meetings
this year will be held on the third or fourth Tuesdays of the month.
The meetings will be from 6:45pm 8:00pm in the Robinson School Cafeteria.
Please consult the calendar listing for exact pack meeting dates.
Den Meetings
Den meetings will be held once or twice a month. Den leaders will
notify parents of the Day, Time, and Location of Den meetings.
Generally these meetings will cover the items outlined in the
monthly theme. Uniforms will be worn when attending Den meetings.
Volunteers
Cub Scouting only works when everyone pitches in! Pack 102 needs
your help to make this a successful scouting year. We have committee
positions that are open, den leadership positions that need filling,
and volunteer positions to help run our pack events. Many of the
positions only require a few hours of work and it is very rewarding
to contribute to the success of the pack. |
