Fundraisers / Volunteer Opportunities

The Westford Academy Boosters organization encourages parents and guardians of all student athletes to get involved - and help promote a program that is dedicated entirely to the kids who participate in sports and enhances the existing athletic programs with their fundraising efforts. There are several ways you can get involved:

  • Canister Drive - Fall of the year. This successful fundraiser relies on the efforts of the kids, as they canvas the Westford Community in groups, soliciting funds for the yearly program.
  • Concession Stand - we operate the concession stand at certain outdoor sports - football, boys and girls soccer, and field hockey. A small indoor concession stand operates during girls and boys basketball games. If you are interested in helping in the concession stand, please call John Wilder, 978-692-6563.
  • Golf Tournament - To Be Determined

  • Spring Banquet - this year will be in May at Westford Academy. This is a banquet for Seniors who have participated in sports during any of their four years at Westford Academy.

  • If you are unsure of what you would like to do, but are interested in participating, please give us a call! We always welcome new fundraising ideas!

An Invitation to join
Westford Academy Boosters Club!

Westford Academy Athletic Boosters Club supports all Westford Academy athletes in all sports. The Boosters purchase all awards, pins, plaques, letters and certificates given to every athlete at the end of their sport season. Each year at least twenty $500 scholarships are given to senior student athletes. We also host the annual senior-parent banquet in May where all seniors who have participated in sports during any of their high school career are honored with a plaque recognizing their accomplishments and treated to a complimentary dinner. Boosters has donated money for sports equipment, training videos, trainer's equipment, bags, and other requests that coaches have submitted.

Last year we gave out $20,000 in college scholarships! Much more needs to be done! Please consider joining us.
