Last Night
Westford Tradition
Last Night is an all-night, alcohol-free, and substance-free evening of festivities for the graduating seniors at Westford Academy. About 200 volunteers come together to host the event for about 400 students. Westford Against Substance Abuse (WASA) supports the event. Every family in Westford and every local business is contacted in an effort to raise money and solicit volunteers. Through the generous donations of time and money from numerous individuals, families, and businesses in town, the event is self-supportive, and much appreciated by the graduates and the parents. The police in town have commented about how little there is to do in Westford that night with all the seniors in for the night.
Throughout the evening, the graduates play casino games, eat, use an obstacle course in the gym, sing karaoke, play skill games to win prizes, and enjoy spectacular professional entertainment in Westford Academy’s beautiful auditorium. The kids end the evening with breakfast while raffle prizes and Junior Trunk items are distributed amongst the graduates.
There is so much appreciation expressed from the graduates, both during the evening, at the end of the event, and in written thank you notes following the event. The juniors start talking about attending the event the next year as soon as the seniors are gone!

Preparations for this year’s post graduation party for Westford Academy seniors have begun, but of course it can’t be done without you! We are aiming for 100% participation of our 2013 graduates. This means that there will be a lot of volunteer opportunities for parents, especially parents of underclassmen – now is the time to get involved. If you can give some of your time between now and June 7th, please consider volunteering for this most worthwhile cause. If you can’t volunteer your time, but would like to help in another way, please consider a monetary donation or gift for our raffle. Donations are tax deductible under IRS code 501(C)(3), section 170 and can be mailed to:
