"Last Night" ~ A Westford Tradition ~

In 1990 a long time Westford resident approached the board of directors of
W estford A gainst S ubstance A buse with a proposal to sponsor an all night drug and alcohol free alternative to the traditional drinking parties that had become the accepted form of celebration following graduation. A post graduation party was planned by a group of parents and community leaders and was well attended by the graduates. A new tradition was started. The "Last Night 2007" celebration represented the seventeenth year of the post graduation party with over 95% of the students in attendance. As evidenced by our web site the overwhelming support of cash donations, auction and raffle gifts, and commitments from almost 200 volunteers proves year after year the value our community places on this WASA sponsored event. Because of all of this care and concern, the Class of 2007 enjoyed a safe farewell from high school. Thank You!

"LAST NIGHT- 2008" Friday, June 6, 2008
Preparations for this year's post graduation party for Westford Academy seniors have begun, but of course it can't be done without you! We are aiming for 100% participation of our 2008 graduates. This means that there will be a lot of volunteer opportunities for parents, especially parents of underclassmen – now is the time to get involved. If you can give some of your time between now and June 1st, please consider volunteering for this most worthwhile cause. If you can't volunteer your time, but would like to help in another way, please consider a monetary donation or gift for our raffle. Donations are tax deductible under IRS code 501(C)3, section 170. For more information please email Leslie Doherty , or call her at: (978) 392-1210 or email Maureen Elitzak, or call her at (978) 589-9572. Thank you in advance for your support.
