The Westford Parent Connection is celebrating its thirteenth anniversary during the 2013–2014 school year. The WPC was formed in 2001 to provide Westford parents and guardians enrichment and educational events to help address a variety of social and emotional issues pertaining to their children's development. The WPC works collaboratively with groups throughout the community, to ensure we address the right topics at the right time. We are grateful for the support from the Westford Public Schools, the Westford Health Department, the Roudenbush Community Center, the Westford Elementary PTO, and the Westford Middle School PTO. Boys Of Few Words: Raising Our Sons To Communicate And Connect - Wednesday, April 16, 2014

Want A Better Relationship With Your Son?

When your son responds to personal questions with a blank stare, or quickly changes the subject, you might dismiss it as typical boy behavior. Want your son to become a better communicator? And have a better relationship with you? The Westford Parent Connection hosts Dr. Adam Cox as he presents Boys Of Few Words: Raising Our Sons To Communicate And Connect. Drawing on his work from his book of the same title, as well as On Purpose Before Twenty, Dr. Cox helps boys of all ages and their parents work together to overcome innate brain differences, social pressures, guardedness, and learning and attention issues that often leave males at a communication disadvantage. Dr. Cox’s advice gives parents the tools necessary to have close, loving relationships with their sons, and to know deeply what is in their boys’ hearts and minds.

The presentation will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Stony Brook Middle School, 9 Farmer Way, Westford, and is free and open to the public.
